I was at Downer from September 1961 to September 1967, I left at the start of Upper 6. I am number 169 in the lower school 1962 photo. Re the query over number 151, that is Julie Pallet. I think number 174 is Janet Mole.

Patricia Lynch (now named Mary Kelly) mails: "I am the unamed girl between Angretta Abercorn and Jennifer Dunn. The girl behind Julia Scragg is Janet Lesadd. Susan Sporle and Susan Sharples' names are swapped over and Susan Walsh is Christine Walsh. The girl next to Lynne Berry (row 4) wearing glasses is Julia Malone. Hope that helps."

Hi Col,
Have a few names for you......
Sarah X (sitting next to me) is Sarah Mason, and it's Jane Prusher sitting to the left of Lian Simmons.
Above Peter Shepherd to his right is Andrew Green (my first kiss!)
And above Gerry Knight to the left is Geoffrey Calver. Unfortunately Geoffrey tragically died in a car accident when he was 18. I sat in front of him and Andrew for three years. He was such a lovely boy.

A very minor correction: I am in the picture for 1973 upper - but I am not who I am marked down as. That is Peter Clarke I am quite sure. He's much more good looking than me so I don't really mind. I think that I am actually to the right of Nigel Ward and to my right is quite possibly Malcolm Hay although I'm not sure.
Not that it matters - none of us look like that anymore!!
Terry Knight
Colin,
Had a look.
Chaps behind me are in a different year so don't know.
On my right with glasses is Ian (or Iain perhaps) Messider. On Keith Carter's left is Jeff Jacobs on his left I don't know but it isn't Steve Buchan, unless there were two; then Kevin Whelan I believe (the one nearby labelled as 'Kevin' is someone else) then, I think, Ian Hewitt. Directly in front of K Carter is a guy with a Polish name of Kepka or similar. And on his left in front of Jacobs is Colin Holdsworth I believe. Peter Lewis is in front of Graham Josland in the photo. On his right is Ray Lucas (labelled Raymond X at the moment. And the one I said was Jeff Jacobs isn't. Jeff is correctly badged elsewhere. The one I said is a 'Tuckman' or similar.
I'll stop now.

Hi, while clearing out some stuff over Christmas I chanced on a couple of magazines which have stayed with me since the early 1970s. The only stuff I have from 5 years secondary education!
Curiosity took me to your web site which I enjoyed clicking through. I was at Downer from 1970 – 1975 (for the last year it was 'Canons').
I’m included in the 1973 Upper School photo. I cannot open the “names diagram (V20, Dec 2012)” I’m between Steve Grimwade and Jonathan Jones.
Hope you can use these documents {Compoti - CP} and share them among others who were at Downer at the same time, or put them on the web site.
All the best
Peter
