I've just read the note about Ellen Cross being the most gorgeous creature during the halcyon years of 67-74 or thereabouts.  This is pure piffle.  Linda Usher took this accolade. The combination of her tight sweaters and ample bosom made her a firm favourite with teachers and pupils alike.  Having had the pleasure of her company for a number of years - before university tore us apart - I should know. She would have been in Upper 6th in around 1973.

Hogwash, Peter, forget Linda Usher or Ellen Cross.  Top of the list would have to be Sue Jones!  I always felt that Sue had the attributes to be the next Sam Fox.

Mind you, if I had to break it down, I'd choose Sue's bubbies, Pennie's legs, Pat Bradley's Gypsy eyes and Nicky Spinks' raunchy sauciness.

Trouble is Karl - can you still remember how to fit them all together in the correct order?

Oh and for what its worth my vote definitely goes to Linda Usher.  I have a photo of Linda taken at Gill Edward's (Syer) wedding.  Just thought I'd tell you.

In my own mind, Terry, I can assure you that I have no trouble fitting them all together in the correct order (or at least my version of the correct order).  It's fitting myself together in the correct order that fucks me up these days.

Yes guys I remember Linda Usher.  I never had the courage to ask her out (I think it was the bosom that frightened me!) But she once said if I had asked her?????
